7. Good Pasture Syndrome

It is a very fancy name with the word GOOD in it but obviously, it won’t do any good though. It’s due to the formation of antibodies against the Glomerular basement membrane along with lung haemorrhage. It mainly targets alpha 3 subunit of type 4 collagen in our body. It’s seen in men in late twenties and both men and women in late 60s. It can be fatal as it affects both Lungs and Kidneys.

The word Good Pasture came from the surname of the one who first reported this. Good Pasture means Good beautiful land covered with grass and low plants suitable for grazing animals. When Jesus Christ was on earth he was approached by a person who called him “GOOD TEACHER” his reply was simple in Mark 10:18 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked him. “No one is good but One–God”.

When Jesus Christ himself denied to be called Good on this corrupt and evil earth how the other people on earth will be? Many times we keep high hopes for others that they will be good to us, they gonna save us or Love us more than anything. Eventually, we run behind such people blindly trusting them and get hurt when their true nature shows up. No one is good but God. We humans have a weakness. That’s why Word of God says Psalm 146:3 “Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation”

Trust in God. In Psalms 23:2 it says “He lets me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside quiet waters. Yes, dear Friend, Only God is Good all the time. He will never change according to time or situation. He alone will love you for who you are. He will never put you down. Let him be your Shepherd today he will lead you to Green pastures in Life and put your head on high. God bless you.
