Vanishing Bile duct Syndrome
Vanishing organs!!! It’s not a hypothetical statement it’s an implausible truth. Vanishing bile duct syndrome (VBDS) is a rare but serious outcome and complication of drug-induced liver injury marked clinically by chronic cholestasis and histologically by the loss of intrahepatic bile ducts. It is usually seen over a period of 1 to 6 months after sustaining a liver injury due to commonly used drugs like amoxicillin/clavulanate, fluoroquinolones, TCAs and anti-convulsants.
Vanishing doesn’t practically mean becoming non-existent or disappearing rather it’s a persistent degenerative change which eventually leads to loss of intrahepatic bile ducts. Similarly, in the present generation, we do see these dissolution changes in our own lives and around us. A Degradation in the quality of products that we buy, in the nutritional value of the food we cook, in the shelter where we take a refuge moreover in our relationship with our fellow beings and not the least but deterioration in our relationship with God. Everything seems to be on the trend of vanishing and becoming nearly extinct.
Earlier there were people to intercede for others, to mediate for other’s iniquities at God’s presence, with their hands lifted to God and eyes overwhelmed with tears and heart filled with the burden for lost souls. But now it all is vanishing… there’s no one who cares for the lost souls, and if asked, the only answer we find them say “We are running out of time”.
Bible says in Amos 8:11-12 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “when I will send a famine on the land— not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord, but they shall not find it.
All that is gonna vanish from this earth is Love, Faith and Hope in God’s word, humanity is on the verge of being doomed. The only way to stand firm is to hold on to God’s word, intervene for lost souls and bring back humanity into this Creation so that our generation would realize that technology and Science is not everything… It’s ultimately gonna without the Creator.
