The dropped head syndrome (DHS) is a disabling condition caused by severe weakness of the neck extensor muscles causing progressive reducible kyphosis of the cervical spine and the inability to hold the head up.
Many times our head drops down for various reasons, it could be due to a defeat, shame, pain, humiliation. We undergo a psychological dropped head syndrome. Sometimes when shattering events happen in our life’s we won’t be able to lift our heads and look at others, our head hangs in shame.
Word of God says in Psalms 3:3 But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. Is your head hanging down in shame or in pain? ” Don’t let those who trust in you be ashamed because of me, O Sovereign Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Don’t let me cause them to be humiliated, O God of Israel.”
Psalms 69:6
