The Rainbow
I’m penning down this message saddened by what is happening in Kerala. We were just a few inches away from the calamity as we went up there to celebrate our first anniversary. Floods, disasters happen in our life out of the blue, but sometimes it’s a physical, or in the form of a health hazard or financial crisis or even relationship setback.
Historically flood during the days of Noah were as horrifying as these, in present times. God himself saw the catastrophe and made a covenant with Noah that he will never again destroy mankind with the flood and arrayed a Rainbow as a promise and a remembrance.
May God bless and deliver them and deliver us from any flood like scenarios in our life.
“I promise every living creature that the earth and those living on it will never again be destroyed by a flood.”
“The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever.” -Genesis 9:14-15
